Construction of three houses with attic and swimming pool

About project
On a plot of land within the settlement of Plaka, Chania, we were asked to erect 3 new houses with an attic and to build 3 swimming pools in the surrounding area. The residences are sited on the western and southern boundaries of the plot in order to create an “entry zone” to the east as well as enough free space for landscaping and the aforementioned swimming pools. The entrances to the residences are marked with natural shade wicker panels, offering shade, and pergolas made of composite Swedish timber are used in the surrounding areas.
In the northern part of the plot there is a small church which we are restoring.
Description of residence A
The first residence is located in the northwestern part of the plot on the western border and has an area of 50 sq.m. The entrance is from the northern side of the building and leads to a single room with a living room, dining room and kitchen with a southeast orientation.
To the right of the entrance, the internal metal staircase leading to the attic is being constructed. On the west side is placed the w.c. and the bedroom with an opening to the north that leads to the outside area.
Finally, to the east, in the surrounding area, the gate of the residence is located as well as a parking space. To the southeast is the swimming pool and to the west is the external staircase leading to the basement.
Description of residence B
The second residence of 50 sq.m. placed in the center of the plot on the western border. Its entrance is located on the north side of the building and leads to a single living room with an opening on the east side that leads to the outside area. To the right of the entrance, on the north side, is the internal staircase leading to the attic. In the western part is the w.c and the bedroom with an opening on the eastern side leading to the surrounding area.
To the east, in the surrounding area, is the main gate of the residence and to the north of it is the parking space. To the southeast is the swimming pool and to the north of the house there is the external staircase leading to the basement.
Description of residence C
The third house is placed on the southern border of the plot. Its entrance is located on the east side of the building and leads to a single living room, with living room, dining room and kitchen. In the center of the space is the staircase that leads to the attic as well as a small corridor that leads to the two bedrooms and the w.c.. The west bedroom, master, has another w.c.. The second bedroom is located to the northwest of the house with an opening on the north side that leads to the outdoor. Finally in the exterior area, to the east is the main gate of the residence and to the south of it is the parking space. The swimming pool is located to the northwest.
